Embellishments of blog profiles anyone?

I admit that in my desire to sound as intellectual and deep as possible I put down some of the most obscure references that I could think of! Alas I see that others supposedly share these interests. C'mon who are we kidding here but ourselves!
On this topic, I think I am going to take a picture tonight and upload it!! Perhaps pictures get more air play, actually a friend who checks out internet personals {the same friend who has had 1)dodgy rash that won't go away, 2) an embarassing loo incident, 3) almost got arrested for indecent exposure in another country, catch my drift wink wink nudge nudge say no more say no more...mmmm...can you spot the deceptions?} was telling me that they only check out profiles with pictures! That could indeed be a way to get more people to view the rantings of a mad lady!

Speaking of madness, was in the US (hate it when people outside of the US refer to it as "the states" how may Americans call it the "states"? I dare you to start an internet poll!!!), and was suddenly struck the amount of garbage on tv by way of reality TV.
I mean i thought i was dreaming when I actually saw a show in which a house full of males competed to be picked as STRIPPER or should I say "entertainment performers"
There was also the engimatic "Being Bobby Brown", was that a dream or were people actually following around Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston with cameras?? They tragically look very different from when I last saw them at my school for all of 3 minutes in 1995 , I kidd you not!

Happy 60th Birthday Dad

Exactly 60 yeas ago my father was born.
I miss him so much everyday.
One day we will meet again.
But in the meantime, all but memories.

okay so I got you here fellow PROCRASTINATOR!

Well I decided to change the name of my blog to truly reflect what I intend for it.
Perhaps I could even get a comment no matter how rude it is!

The reason for "procrastinator's paradise" is not because I have fun things for procrastinators like myself but because I am a procrastinator! I take that all back...I will have fun and tantalising treats for all all who go by the name of procrastinator! Mmm if this is going live I hope my spellings and grammar are all correct. I think I am losing the ability to write in my supposed first language English as I get older.

Anyway what am I procrastinating about? I have a master's dissertation to hand in two months so here i intend to post my progress. So far I am in an overwhelming abyss..I am thinking at the moment that I would prefer to be doing a dissertation in "Bollywood films: representations of culture and religion". Yes you guessed it! Another form of procrastination! After watching a string of classic Hindi/Bollywood movies, I somehow figured that I could understand Hindi without a lesson. Well that was until last night when my new found skill was sorely bruised. I watched a film without subtitles and had to rely solely on body talk!!


I think I like this blog thing....Nobody gets to read your blogs so you can write anything:)

After reading a couple of profiles, I have finally figured out what Blogging is all about!

So what is with internet posting

I gave through to procrastination and decided to get my very own Blog.
I am yet to know exactly what a "Blog" is but I guess this is it!
I don't think anyone will read this but it seems like a lot of fun!
